My animation 'Camouflaged Commotion' was created as part of my HSC Visual Art Major Work in 2019. My work 'Camouflaged Commotion' was nominated by ArtExpress.
Here's my ArtExpress summary:
"Current statistics show that one in four young people in Australia are at risk of serious mental illness. Due to mental health issues being staggeringly common, I aimed to build understanding in young people who view my animation. The script for Camouflaged Commotion was written as a means for communicating the impact of mental health issues in a quirky, non-alienating way. My work intertwines themes of symbolism and irony using a collection of visual animation techniques.”
I have since then been refining and improving my skills in art and animation, making this animation look outdated in comparison to my art skills now.
